Custom-made insoles

Orthopedic insole is used to adopt the foot in a proper position inside the footwear.
Insoles are made of different materials such as leather, plastic, rubber, cork. Insoles are used both in orthopedic and regular shoes.

Functional impact of insoles:

   Foot arch support in functionally correct position

   Shock absorbtion in gait for joints and spine

   Diminuition of discomfort and tiredness on high heel walking 

   Shoes comfort improvement

 

Indications for insoles:

   Foot deformations — planovalgus, longitudinal, transverse flatfoot, clubfoot, shortening of limbs up to 3 cm

   Foot diseases: arthritis, metatarsalgia, Morton's neuroma, bursitis, calcaneal spur, Köhler's disease

   Foot defects: scars, stumps

   General diseases: rheumatoid arthritis, gout, diabetes, vascular diseases

   Gait disorders: toeing-in

 

Insoles are prescribed for prevention of postural insufficiency of feet in the following cases:

   Foot overload caused by prolonged standing, heavy weight lifting, sport activity

   Pregnancy

   Injuries and diseases of inferior limbs

   Excess body weight

   Predesposition to flat-foot and toes deformation


Orthopedic insoles are made upon individual order. Details of insole construction, shape and form are defined by the orthopedic surgeon.
